Yes, all of us resource types have had losses, and can understand the feelings. My big loss was in WIM, and for a long time it stimulated major angst and resentment for the company's mismanagement - for one thing they did a 1-for-3 rollback just as the POG was tanking last July. Well, while I maintain that a number of moves made by wim were really freakin stupid, I have to accept the greater part of the blame for not processing the readily available information in an effective manner - specifically the fact that wim is highly leveraged to debt. Low POG = bankruptcy, strong POG = profit. Period. All the information was available re debt/resource and the hedgers shorting against the convertibles, I just didn't read it well. I made the mistake of listening to Michael Curran, who better not ever make a claim of infallibility or even competence in a room in which I am in the audience - but still, it was my mistake for listening. And there's not much point in grinding on about old stuff on the thread, after sending them the first few dozen pieces of my mind. MGR has fallen by about the same percentage, to roughly three millions market cap at the close yesterday on a fully-diluted basis. And for good reason - there's no cash at the moment to proceed with Altai, where maybe the best of mgr's blue sky lies; stockgroup.com But it's a little early to write the company off, I think. The MAC thing will be resolved, one way or the other, before too very long, and that should improve the view of the company to the financiers. Or maybe not, who knows? But I'm not dumping at this level. Consider - twenty cents is a double from here. Anyway, I'd like to hear from these people who feel so free to grind on Dave just exactly precisely what they would do differently at this point in time. Since the blaming does get boring, and after all the only really relevant question is 'What do we do next?'. Re wives - Wives are all right, imho, as long as they support you in the style to which you've become accustomed, and that's quite low for most of us lately. I recommend chiapanecas. Pretty fine girls can be little diablos at times, and a person should consider all the options before steppeing out with anybody, really #reply-4891467 Of course, the Ladies have their own perspective #reply-5071733 -g- .. cheers
