Patrick Thats why I included your own post. There was no mention of him 'keeping' the 20. And no mention of you 'pointing' out to him that there were 2 20's befoer he returned 1 20 back to you. You just said 'he gave you a $.' Then he gave you 20 off the top (top of what I dont know). You say he didnt trust you "because he crumpled your 20". Where is the question of trust?? I would crumple it to see if there is 1 or 2 bills . I dont think crumpling would tell me if the bill was good or not. Of course nothing tell sme if the bill is good or not. Maybe (american) english is a 2nd language for me. I was brought up on the queen's language. ratan In any case its no big deal. I just wasnt clear. Thats why I said "I AM CONFUSED" And it wouldnt make any difference whether he was an immigrant, black, mexican, KKK, racist, bigamist or ....... And BTW maybe he was an employee and stealing from both customers and owners. Maybe you should contact the owner. And if he was the owner, contact IRS for undisclosed income. ggggggggggggggg...
