To each his own but I happen to think technical analysis is very helpful in buying and selling stocks, and I totally disagree with your idea of tea-leaves and voodoo. It's not the whole picture but a very useful with fundamentals. I have made very good decisions against the recommendations from II on doing this. I did drop my subscription to II for this very reason (as well as some very horrible picks in general) so I doubt all readers think exactly like you. By the way if you sold CMGI like you said you did due to their analysis then fine, you made good money and I'm sure you are not complaining. I just was commenting that they seem to keep pounding the table on losers until they've gone to the floor, and are so easy to say sell or hold on technically strong issues that they pick so infrequently. If you don't agree then so be it.
