Tweaker:
In comparing CPQ and Dell, the clue is return to shareholders.
One year ago CPQ was a great success with $1.8 bil profits.
Now CPQ is looking at vast expenses and one year before return to profitability IF all goes well, and if not then what.????

Meanwhile Dell has a chance to repeat this type of July 4th,1997
holiday::
July 1 1997 $114
July 15 1997 $141
July 30 1997 $170( 85 after split)
Oct 15,1997 $ 205( 102 after split)
An 80% rise. Can't do it again?? I believe they just did, from
Jan till now, over 100%. That's a big slowdown from the 3700%
return in the last three years, but still livable.
Analysts who maintain equivalent buy ratings on Cpq and Dell
are neurologically disadvantaged.
