Larry,

He perhaps single handedly caused the demise. Going with that theory, his first post was on June 12th (353) the day after the stock had dropped from 4 7/8 to 4 1/4.

IMO i believe ancr will soon announce yet another
company not signing on to use its latest switch.
This is what i have heard from Vixel folks.

He kept the FUD going hard and heavy culminating June 26th:

Who is not in the running @DG/Clarion ?
Looks like its Vixel/Brocade to fight it out for
the switch business.

FMV : ANCR $1.99 .... know what you can buy for that?

Someone responded suggesting Sun was still considering Ancor:

What's this? Sun has now approached Ancor to provide fibre channel switches? Either
Sun has been having problems with the Silkworm, or they wan't to give their customers
more options. Stay tuned, this stock is gonna get really rocky quick.

Bullstroke gave a kneejerk response:

Very Funny... SUN doesnt
shine on ANCR!

Down to the last desperate breath...
Easy Come , EASY Go.
How about buying yahoo or amazon instead?

Suddenly, perhaps going long, Bullstroke responds:

Did anyone hear anything to this effect?
Lots of activity in this area.... I hear
$8 per share if buyer & co. can iron out
some differences... Buyout is the most
likely scenario for this company.
Surviving as a lone entity is now next to
impossible for ancr. Dont know how much progress
they are making in revamping mkII for what the
SAN market needs.

Short : Put in your stop loss now.

Stay tuned.... I am only hearing rumors...

and then of course:

An OEM in the making

Not quite tier 1 but potentially decent size.
Final package maybe an "ancr inside" type deal.
Not expected to contribute to rev. until 99.
This one may not even be announced for another
3 - 6 months. Glimmer of hope yet for the long suffering
bulls. 7/13 is a far more interesting play.....
hello S. , U dig ?

Looks like a soap opera. Did Bullstroke do due dilligence on the Sun rumor and go long? Will Batman get out of the Joker's trap? Can Underdog find his super-energy pill? Stay tuned!

Seriously,

whether or not you take all of him seriously, or discount everything, ANCR is worth more than $40M. The shorts are going to get real tired of seeing their profits eroded and time is still on Ancor's side - this is still a decisively growing market, not a shrinking one.
