Pre Holiday Effect:

This one requires a little logic explanation...in order for the pre holiday Effect to be valid, the stocks would normally be depressed in price those two days so that buying them then and holding, or selling just before close on the 2nd day one would make profit.

If the market were up, the equities would be higher priced, and therefore less likely to be able to buy at a local minimum. The prices generally won't start moving up until the last hour of each day, and moreso on the last day as short sellers back out their postions to hedge against good news over thelong weekend.

I am very convinced that the pre holiday effedct will be in place, and intend to go long on both day trades and at least one more add to the Postion Trading Account on Friday morning.
