When did Wal-mart starts online? It seems etails become too crowded just like conventional retails and Wall Street/momentum players love to pay 5B for amzn at 100 a share at this moment. May be amzn will become 'Crown' bookstore on internet, sells books at discount to become famous but recently cannot compete again gorillas B&N and Borders and now close to bankcrupt. Some said short amzn to zero, he might have a good vision.

in the future, all commmerce will be internet-based, we'll see what happens to the Wal-Marts and Barnes & Nobles then, what will they do with their deposits and giant stores Amazon doesn't having any of the fixed costs these companies have, and at the pace it's growing, it could soon buy them out, too ___ OK, 50,000 books isn't exactly taking AMZN on head on, just yet..... but come on folks, how long before WMT has as many books available as AMZN and priced to insure that BEZOS never sees a profit in his lifetime....except from ditching his stock, that is..... This is kinda silly....Just let Bezos start encroaching on WMT's turf with a few "announcements of new ventures (which they cannot afford to undertake)" and see how serious WMT undertakes evolving to etailing.....This is not magic, WMT has never let the competition have a leg up yet....Don't see it happening this time either... How stupid it seems to have this stock so utterly blown out of all reasonable proportion....You cannot say Wall Street can't take a joke...
