Hi Kurt,

I promised to post some of the interesting tidbits from the NY meeting for those who where unable to attend either of the two shareholder meetings. Hopefully it will provide a feel for what efforts management has taken to date for the service.

Why was Portico chosen as the name?

According to Dr. Markman, extensive testing was done with focus groups throughout the west, east, and southeast regions of the country. Portico was the overwhelming chose in each of the three regions, but for interestingly different reasons.

In the west, Portico rang familiar with the term portal, as in portal to the world wide web. Lots of techies out there.

In the east, Portico was favored for its similarity to portable, and that tied in with the obvious portability of the service.

In the southeast, Portico reminded them of a portico (wow!), and they liked the image of the grand entry to a home that it created.

I know this isn't earth shattering stuff, but some might find it interesting nonetheless. I'll post some more information as time allows, especially the parameters they set in developing the personality of the service.
