After reading the thread, it seems that the general feeling is that LLTC is going to stay down this year. To me, this does not compute. After reporting earnings this quarter, they will exceed last years sales in just 3 quarters. The last two years growth has been flat. A few months ago they predicted the stock to be $90. This is the most profitable IC company in the industry. It is a bargain at these prices and I am buying the stock during these dips. Lets hope for another 18 point gain after earnings like last quarter.

LLTC and MXIM should be okay this quarter. If you read the fine print on MXIM qtr report, you will find that they have already booked this quarter. It should also be known that the standard lead time for most analog IC's is around 16 weeks, so effects to this industry take quite awhile to show up.

To me it is a shame that the whole IC industry is taking hits because a few weak CEO's are using Asia to explain their problems. If Asia is so weak, why is retail sales so strong? Where do most of the product for WalMart and other hot retailers come from? I believe that the answer will be Asia.
