PJ,
You mistake me. I am not attacking you. I am trying to get you to see things from a different perspective. There are a lot of short sighted people out there that jump on the latest "band wagon". ie - tobacco. They think that what they are doing is good because they do not take the time to see reality. They feast on the latest thing that the press feeds them, They do not take the time to look at the path they are choosing to walk down. Where does it end? What happens when the government taxes the hell out of your eggs because "it is too high in cholestorol". Then the shoe is on the other foot. IT is no differnet with drugs or anything else. If one does not condone that behavior then stay away from it. What is right to one is wrong to another. IF one judge's the whole world thru his/her individual convictions than he/she has done a terrible injustice to many. This is the basis for the whole Libertarian platform. It is resounded throughout all their positions whether it be taxes, governemt programs, foreign policy, drugs, military etc..... Do not pick individual issues, try to understand the philosophy. CIVIL LIBERTIES!
What this country was founded on.
Sincerely,
Hraka

Remember one thing about the debate. Those of us who engage in debate for the sake of debate don't change things. Those of us who engage in rhetoric (not the mainstream definition, but the original definition) wind up making convincing, and groundbreaking, arguments that change the world.
Debate is based on dialectics...the touchstone of Hegelian/Marxist thought. Debates are won by rhetoricians.
