CompUSA (CPU) 17 9/16 -9/16: Computer retailer warns that fiscal fourth quarter (Jun) will post a loss of between $0.15 and $0.20 per share (and that excludes an expected charge), well below current expectations of a profit of $0.07 per share. Also announces plans for new information technology strategy.

But I think that's alright, because most of buyers would wait till Windows 98's June 25 release to buy a loaded one. I hope the new Windows 98 will help CPU sell more computers in the coming quarters.

Cheers,

XyZ

They reported sales are down due to customers delaying purchases until Win 98 came out. Earnings are going to be 18 or 20 cent losses instead of the predicted 7 cent gain.

Look out below. Don't be suprised to see a 6 point drop.
