Dear Boy, (I've always wanted to begin a letter that way, so I will...;-} You are quite right... I did naturally assume that this was to be a wild and free wanderlust type of journey... a beat-up knapsack, a pair of spare jeans, a couple of extra pairs of socks... and the Thomas Covenant trilogy tossed in for good measure... I shall ponder your journey as I paddle my canoe down some secluded river... I wonder what Jack Kerouac would say to a laptop computer and the internet in that knapsack.... Cool Daddy-O ???
