*AV*--Yep. Now that makes 2 silly companies that went after Symbios. However, the LSI affiliation should be real interesting. We are now talking about 2 sleazey competitors who were cutting each others throats for years. This should make for some interesting events down the road.

On the brighter side, this type of merger could actually work out for the best since a great deal of "valueless overhead" in the form of real bad deadweight could be shed between the 2 companies. I think that the purchaser, LSI, would be more likely to recognize the places where Symbios could relieve itself of useless and counterproductive associates while bolstering their own operation with some of the "cream of the crop". Who knows, a real nice powerhouse could be created if the best of both worlds were to combine without any internal friction or conflicts while getting rid of the infrastructures that were dragging each company down.

Oh to be a fly on the wall or at least an employee for the next 6 months. Better yet, what I wouldn't give to be a consultant to LSI to help point out the forest from the trees and the fungi.<GGG>
