Where did you hear this from? If indeed AMD is manufacturing this chip at this time frame, it would surely bankrupt this company.

I don't know about 500Mhz but I'm sure that most of the Intelebees here HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT IBM IS RAMPING UP ON THE K6 as we type...
