Cyrus--- I would like to reiterate like many times before that it is not the economic fall out from Russia I am worried about, all these western banks and companies do not have back breaking exposure in Russia it is Russia nuisance and its huge land mass at hte confluence of ASIAN plane with continental Europe that Russian economy imposes far greater security implication. I will write more Raj is on other line from NY telling me what a rally is in progress.

Amidst sea of black all over in ASEA the only sign of trouble I see is Russia, China is down slightly but it is Russian instability on needs to watch for it is an important element in our overall out look as we go forward. The security repurcussions from a impending Russian fall out can spell trouble for European markets. It is the European turn around that future gains in US stock markets can be insured a troubled continental Europe on its sensitive eastern flank will affect global markets. It is for this reason I look at Russia and China much more attentively than the other mature markets in Europe. I look at the causes and not effects, it is for this reason to determine the future course I emphasise on underlying features of change, a comparison of what has change. If one keeps looking at the effects the chances are that more then likely the results will be skewed. One needs to mark strategies from underlying macro-economic issues and look for what is happening around us. In this context Russia plays a very dominant role in my posts. Unfortunately Russia China and Japan does not figure in any of the indexes charts, without quantifying the benefit or damage I am always at lost when people keep giving levels to short or long. It has to integrated study where one applies weighting to global events like yeaterday's Sam missile attack, for me it had no impact and that xcmae out to be true. Realistic evaluation of events is key to market reading.
