Drrisk,

Did you know your post was reprinted in AOL? You are now being touted as the "long term, highly objective" drrisk..... Your internet pal faris bueller even made reference to your post as being thorough. You have made it my friend! If you don't have access to AOL let me know and I'll pass the accolades along to you.

On a more serious note, it seems that the financing discussed could be risky (excuse the pun)but beats the hell out of more dilution or other action which could negatively effect the valuation. In thinking through this form of financing, I realized that Las Vegas reinvented itself by leveraging this type of financing at a time when no one else saw the vision of people like Steve Wynn (i am NOT comparing GF with Steve Wynn btw)...

i have been up too long.. but in a nutshell.
doing a conv subordinated then a junk bond to "buy back shares" or ??
what happens if the HOnts just converted to push the stock price down (thru sales), cover shorts, then possibly pushing the price up temporarily(by buying a little) and selling balance into the rally.
thus making a bundle on the converts, the shorts, and the extra that they will sell into the "rally", and interest on top of what money is owed them thru the non-converted notes.
this is a vicious financial game. i prefer having "HOnts" as owners of the stock. As it is this stock never sold on earnings, there could be potential, but this company has had more than adequate time to get this stuff together.
so i am sort of bearish, but also under water.. and confident in knowing that I do not know what is behind door # 1 or door #2.
one last question.
why is this company having SH meetings i such posh places??
and when are they moving their offices out of NYC.
