Tom, my point is when the general public becomes aware of how catastrphic the y2k situation is...the stock market will drop...
investors will retreat to gold.

I expect the price of gold to exceed $1000...by Jan. 2000.

Then gold mining that isn't profitable at under $300 will become so...obviously there is a limit, but assuming reasonable costs, majors will be buying or merging with minors...

At that point, proved sites will be hot!
