I've seen info about the move in the financial statements, but to
the best of my recollection, what was mentioned was moving the
remainder of the manufacturing to Colorado, not the whole company.

Also, I recall that Ampex sold the property where their office is
located and then leased part of it back. I presume this was to get
their hands on any equity they might have had in the property.
They had too much space for the amount of manufacturing they are
doing, and needed to rent out or get rid of the unused portion
somehow to reduce the unnecessary overhead.
