Yes, but amateurs talk about tactics and strategy. Professionals talk about logistics. Browne recognized the potential media free for all about his acceptance of matching funds....better to stick to your guns than let them turn them on you.

As a serious answer to the original question about the Libertarian Party becoming a mainstream party. I don't believe there is a prayer of that happening without a lot of voter education. While I continue to vote for the party in all elections, I don't put a lot of effort directly in the party. I believe the cause of libertarianism is better served by pushing education and promotion of libertarian ideas and solutions via groups such as the Cato Institute.
