Craig,

I have my own discipline and I won't invest in internet issues unless they show me the $ first. However, that does not prevent any of the internet studs making new highs. I still believe that AMZN shorters will keep getting screwed for at least half a year, maybe much longer. As to YHOO! and AOL shorters, they basically have no chance to win.

I also think that the relative weakness in DELL has to do with the huge amount of short interest... The short interest in Michael has increased 24% this past month. However, it seems to me that 99% of the DELL shorters have not made a penny yet and when the issue break out, they will definitely cover in a hurry. This will send DELL up 10 points in a hurry. DELL shorters were consistently screwed in the past, and there is no reason to believe that they won't be in the receiving end this time.

I closed my MSFT July call positions and bought more DELL at low. Right now, DELL has surpassed MSFT as my #1 holding.

good luck,
larry!

Craig,

Have you covered your AMZN shorts yet? I think that those who shorted in the 70s are going to see a 100% paper loss without even knowing what's going on.

I guess that this has to be the most amazing stock I have seen for a while.

Well, at least DELL is moving. Guess that it won't hit my target until the internet studs cool down a bit.:)
