Stitch, no soft landing here. I remember someone calculated (or claimed) that if everyone in China climbs up on a table and jump off at the same time, we will have an earthquake in US. Just think what will happen if: China devalues the RMB. Japan finally unveils bank debt number. HK peg falls. IMF admits that they are worthless and disbands. AMAT pre-announces. Many many others...... We don't need to trouble the billion plus Chinese to jump, our market will crack on its own. Just look at how the market treats the non-performers today - 50% drops!!! Ouch.
