Alex, when were you allowed to date? As I recall, you have at least one sister, so when did your parents allow her to go out alone with a boy? Since you have described your parents as conservative, and this is an area in which I, too, am leaning to the right, it would be helpful for me to know. I told my daughter that I was asking my friends on the net for guidance on the appropriate age girls could go out on dates, since she and I have outgrown all my child care books.
