HI Jan,

Sorry to hear your having so much trouble with QPV.

I would suggest, since there are so many who are not having problems that it might be related to your computer. Not saying that you've done anything wrong, just that after many installs/un-installs of different types of software things start to happen that are unexplained, and blamed on the software that was last installed or is acting up.

I have found this to be true on many different occasions. With different software that I have installed then un-installed, (or so I thought.) The left over reg entrys, files that support the removed software and such. When I did a search for files I thought were removed, there they were! This proved true with Regestry entries as well.

The only way I was able to correct these problems was to save all important data, then Fdisk my computer, Format, and reinstal what I wanted.

Hope this helps

Arctic Mike

Jan, I can relate. On manual export, if you place subsequent directories under the first one listed for auto update Q+ will update all sub-directories without having to type them in.

First time I tried auto update, it failed and wigged out the data files. I ran the manual export once and now everything works fine, even get the vol in 1's. Go figure.

Still would be nice to have all the files ready in MS virtual. Maybe at a later date.

Spoke too soon, Jan. Noticed one directory that had volume in 100's and last 4 days of download in 1's. Sheesh. I deleted the entire directory and re-exported. In 1's now. Fickle thing...

We'll see what happens when I download next week.
gonna start calling this program "delete and repeat" soon
