I'm sure you can sense my sarcasm when I post comments to those news releases. I fully expect every piece of good news to be given a good once over by the bears on this thread. So far I haven't been dissapointed! :)

My best estimate - just judging from previous deals and the scope of Unilever I would guess upwards of $30 million, that being on the conservative side. Unilever spent over 1 billion dollars in advertising in '96. I would also keep in mind that this might open the door to P&G, which is the big Kahuna in advertising.

Regardless, for anyone that follows on-line advertising/marketing, this is a great sign for the industry. It shows that packaged goods co's are willing to spend significant ad dollars on this new medium - something they were unwilling to do in the past.
