I rarely look at or use my AOL ISP. I have the basic account with them that I use as a back up if this one fails me. I am not interested in any of the trash that they advertise.

But I am interested in the fact that company's like my brokerage house (DLJ) are willing to pay them $25M for the right to advertise with them. One story after another about this sort of thing, plus all the buying that I'm doing and looking forward to doing on the internet, tells me that we're investing in the prosepects for future growth.

Eventual and continued, sequential growth is what gives a company value.
