Yes, "I couldn't care less." Forgive me... typing at 110 wpm doesn't do much for my thought process. I don't check my posts for grammar.

As for overgeneralizing, my editor and I agree that it was the correct usage of the word. I am generalizing excessively (meaning I included more people than generalizing permitted for the purpose of effect), which means I am generalizing more than I should be.

Clearly, you are correct.
However, remember language is a complex and changing organism. Dissed wasn't a word several years ago, and is now accepted. Language shows its vitality based on its ability to include and adapt to change.
