Care to "prove" me wrong on the HIV2 issue? And as to Abbott, they also will be testing their next generation product with the CDC. And by the way, the CDC does not give "approval". And as to the innuendo that Abbott is selling Trinitys product, I would doubt very highly that is the case. And here is the point about an HIV2 test. Once a combination HIV1 &2 test is available, no one will take the liability risk of using a test that only tests for HIV1, such as the current product at the FDA.
