Todd,

I hope I am wrong, but Granstream Saga doesn't seem to do half good as Quest 64. Any preliminary feedback?

>> I'm not mentioning these trades to boast, but since I announced at the time I opened the transactions, I think it's only fair to mention when I close them. It's sort of a voluntary disclosure. <<

Don't worry, we all understand this is your honesty. A lot better than those who hyped the stock than disappear after they sold out. :o)

Todd, if THQ releases all the scheduled games instead of pushing one or two back to Q4, you are probably conservative. Which is fine. :)

My take on the wrestling leagues is that WCW is still more popular, but WWF benefits from being showcased just once a week. I think the WWF is benefiting from the new edgier content as well. But the WCW has Turner behind it and a deeper roster of wrestlers. I don't know about the east coast, but here on the left coast WCW Nitro Monday is shown twice. I would think the Nielson ratings are just for the early show but actual viewers of the Monday night show is probably higher than WWF. My hope is that WCW holds up while slowly losing appeal through overexposure. (WCW is now on at least three different days a week.) Hey, it is win-win either way, really.

And in the Catching Up Department:

<<Interesting post, Marc. Does the piece indicate how costs of delayed order fills are calculated? Alternatively, is there a link to the DLJ research?>>

Dave, the answer to both is no, unfortunately.

Marc

Todd, When you sold Jul30 PUTs for $5. Do you get the cash right then or you have to wait for them to expire. When you sold naked PUTS, techinally you have to have enough cash to cover your position. Does this amount equal to the strike price or just the premium. Congratulation that is a 400% return on your investment.

Thanks much for your info on your options trades. I just started dabbling in options a few months ago. I've been buying THQ out-of-the-money calls and buying CMGI out of the money puts, and making money at both. Will buy some XCIT puts tomorrow morning... Your idea about selling puts is an interesting one. Higher risk, right, as you may end up forced to buy shares upon exercize, if I remember my O&F course correctly?

I logged into Individual Investor's chat session on Yahoo today at 5pm and asked them their current opinion on BTIM and THQI. They ignored my question regarding BTIM, but said that they don't like THQ because they will have a hard time beating last years numbers AND because they lost their wrestling license. To keep this in perspective, in the 6 years that I've followed II, my average annual total return on II/SSR stocks is:

-2.5%

I think I trust the analysis on this board a bit more...
