Yes, as a matter of fact. I have been bullish on PAIR for quite a while now. Recently, when my TMAR fell to the gutter from 21+7/8 to 14+7/8 I took stock of my foolish buy and said "PAIR has more upside potential than TMAR, since for TMAR there is no bottom in sight, but PAIR has both upside and upside surprise potential". I then took all of my TMAR plus remaining cash and bought PAIR at $13.5, (go see PAIR chart). Now that PAIR has settled a little I'm back in at $17+1/8.

My point is this: emotion should follow logic as an after effect. That's when it works best, and confirms right or wrong choices. If CPQ is good then buy and hold for whatever time frame is right. If not, buy something else. I am long CPQ 400 shares, and my timeframe is about 6 - 9 months. I see good potential, although if it goes down I must equally admit my mistake. But to get upset with a stock and short it? Ridiculous.

On each buy or sell I have to face the tune of whether my insights were correct or not. My emotions are a result.
