The VVUS stock price and its future. Why are we where we are? 1)PFE a)domestic sales 2)Mangement A)lack of credibility b)poor domestic marketing The remedy. I think the largest mark against the company is managment's inability to market the drug successfully in the US. They do not have the experience nor the nohow to do so. I believe that is the reason the stock is as low as it is. Fortunately, it won't take much to remedy this situation. If VVUS was to acquire a domestic marketing partner, I think the stock would pop for two reasons. One, management will no longer be responsible for the marketing. I think management has done a fine job producing the product and can continue to do so. Also, I think a domestic partner will be another source of encouragement for the product. I think the street will gain a new confidence if a big boy comes in and puts some money behind a domestic marketing campaign. There are some sentiments that the stock may go to 0. That is certainly possible, but I think that to be an unlikely scenario. I think management is trying to find all the profit centers they can, but, if there marketing efforts are a failure (which they have been so far) I believe they will have the presence of mind to hand the wheel to somebody who knows how to steer a ship. Some people may dispute this and that would be understandable considering what mngmt. has demonstrated thus far. However, I think they are green and will learn their place through their mistakes (I hope). Colby
