Mike,
If the market was always right, there would never be value or exceptional returns because everyone would know about it. I think what the market is telling us about VVUS is that there is still a fair amount of risk to be overcome. I agree PFE when and if it gets world wide approval is certainly going to interfere with our market share, but I don't think it will be to the same effect. 1) I think the other countries already know about the potential dangers of Viagra. I don't think it will have the same hypy it did here. 2) Astra and J&J are much better at marketing than VVUS, IMO. They should be able to provide PFE with a bit more competition.
As in all cases, time will tell. At these levels, I like the risk/reward profile.

Colby

Bigkny: Your response to VLAD was one of the best written items I have ever seen on either the long or short thread. Colby may be interested as my basis for being negative on the stock was the stock behavior itself. He found some fault in that approach. Your post goes far deeper.

To me, it is mind boggling that the longs cannot see what is staring them in the face. It is like burying one's head in the sand and hoping that the bully(pfe) goes away.

It isn't going to happen

All in my opinion only

Mike
