Roger: Are there leaps on Amazon yet? I'd think about buying put leaps or selling the call leaps. No way to tell when and where this thing will derail

<<When AMZN corrects, it will be sudden and severe with no chance for new shorts, probably drop 50% or more overnight. >>
Oh, I just stay put w/ my 100 amzn short, I can not box it except long it in one IRA acc. w/ 100 shares or buy another "better" internet to hedge and have to watch like a hawk. Well I am not pessimistic but see many engineers unemployed (including me today) and definitely a slow down (may be a mild recession in '99) but internet is crazy. I don't have deep pocket otherwise 1 yr from now I doubt amzn is worth $50.
You have a gap of $5 that means you believe the blow-off top is some what close. This is the timing game like stealing gold just before a timing bomb explodes at the vault :>(
