Paul,

I would describe the curvature of AMD stock price as having a moderately positive second derivative. The first derivative is moving towards zero. This compares to the INTC moving average which has a second derivative of zero, and a slightly negative first derivative.

If these extrapolations are correct, the best investment choices would long on AMD and short on Intel.

For reference, I've been anticipating the decline of INTC every year for as long as I can remember! ;^)
