Sorry Ramsey, you misunderstood me [I know you were kidding though in your inscrutable American way]. My criticism is not of the technologically challenged who can still have highly valuable opinions on form and feel, legalisms, advertising ideas and public image of a company.

For example the comments about credibility and the need for Qualcomm glasnost made by Gregg, Ashley and others are essential = low credibility, dissembling, glossing over or underestimating public concern about faults will be fatal. We don't like surprises about problems which have been around a while. If a plastic housing breaks unusually - announce it and assure customers they will be made whole and happy if they too suffer the problem which has now been fixed.

My criticism is directed at those who think the image is the reality, the hype is the value and the charisma the bottom line while ignoring the fact that all that stuff is supported only as much as the prosaic engineering stuff works and hangs together.

Thanks for giving me an opportunity to rave a bit more!

PS: SurferM and RoseWallet Man are the greatest! Their opinions, ideas and comment invariably invaluable.
Thanks Jon!
