Rene,

Thanks for the report on your telecon with G. Reight. His attitude toward the Internet is interesting. In this amazing new age of technology and communication I find it hard to ignore the Internet as a tool of power and persuasion.

I think perhaps the Internet is seen as a threat by many Stock Brokers and Investment Relations firms. Granted, there is a lot of riff raff and misinformation around, but that is part of a free society. The Internet is an extremely valuable tool for individuals who prefer to invest their own money instead of giving a large part of it to brokerage houses.

The greatest value is our ability to swap information and help one another out with lightning speed and with almost no cost.

The tools available to do "smoke and mirror" stuff is overwhelming. I look back five years ago and consider what it would take for us to do what we do now and it is unbelievable.

For our sake, we are obligated to use this resource for the mutual benefit of all. If it weren't for the Internet I would still be going broke safely with a 10% a year Mutual Fund. Along the way, I would be making some Financial Manager rich.

Good fortune to all, Shorty
