TD,

Well, all I can do is to wish you good luck.

However, I don't think that you need to regret not in IOM, ZITL. You might have lost some opportunity to make 70-90% in two years by shorting those issues at the very peak (!), however, you could have made an average of 400-500% gain in the same period of time simply long MSFT, DELL, and LU. And if you trade options, you can almost double that gain easily. And the most important is that I bet that you can sleep very well at night.

I guess that when your portfolio reaches high 6 to low 7 digits, you will listen to what I say. I have a friend who has made a 10000%+ gain in the last 7 years simply longing quality issues (he never shorted once in his lifetime), and now he has more than enough $$ to retire at age 33. Long those super studs, and add a few value plays in your portfolio, like MO, and you will outperform the market by a wide margin.

good luck,
larry!
