Glen, I shorted Yhoo at 134 and got out at 149, What is your price on AMZN? May look
into buying leap puts on yhoo. Internet stocks are going up on untested earnings

S. M.

I shorted pre split so the average is $41.

So the whole idea might be new and exciting?
but will the advertiser leave TV and buy into internet permanently. I would say this is
new fad. I still believe internet stocks are good short. ASND will be 80 when yhoo is
back to
25-30

I agree with you completely. Unfortunatly, the market is not cooperating.

Glenn

I hope you're right on the Ascend but I disagree with you regarding internet ads. How many people get up to go to the bathroom during TV commercials, or never open their magazines to read print ads. How do you buy TV ad time and target it unless you have millions of dollars. You can do very targeted banner ad campaigns on search engines, even banner ads triggered by specific search words, for a small investment, and the surfer can click the ad and be transported right to your site. Plus, you can get real-time view/click through reports for EVERY person who sees your ad, not a sample.

The business models are young and PEs are outrageous now, but internet ads will revolutionize advertising. (No, I do not work for a search engine, or own search engine stock.)
