(MDMD) 5 -15 1/4 (-75%): --Update-- What appears to be making this situation so bad is that the company completed a secondary offering of 2.5 mln shares just 3 weeks ago, priced $19.375. Press Releases Would hate to be one of the institutions that took in a piece of this offering-- a 74% loss after holding the stock for just 21 days. One of the largest percentage declines we have ever seen. When a stock falls this much, traders should automatically begin looking for some sort of intraday rebound. It may not happen, but can't recall seeing a stock finish the day 75% lower unless company admitted to cooking the books, and it rarely happens even then. Last night, the provider of proprietary database products, decision-support software and analytical services warned that Q2 results will come in between nil and $0.02 a share, excluding charges, well below the First Call estimate for a profit of $0.12 a share.
