Whoops!

Look at the DVD sales number. 40 X 50 = 2M, not 4M. They are getting a better price this Q. They need about 72K units to make $4M in DVD, maybe.

C-Cube's sales indicate that inventories of DVD componets are just sitting in inventory. There was a post on Yahoo from someone that talked to C-Cube's CFO. The poster claims the CFO said DVD sales would be lower than Q1($2.7M). C-Cube's customers are not moving product.

I don't quiet buy it. This Q would have shipped DVD decoders more in late May and June, for Win 98. DVD titles are increasing sales at a 50% per month clip. DVD is strong going into 1999.

John, some info to fine-tune the model. Don't forget about the past losses that have been accumulated. Sigma won't be paying any taxes this year... Back in that $50,000.
