benedict-

you never said what you thought about 5x7 computer circuit board;

anyway weren't you all amazed that the company could put out a follow-up press release about a $10M contract and the stock price goes downand the they put out a pr about hiring a Maylasian rep and the stock price runs up 15%. Well, RUMOR (i thought that was one of the characters in To Kill A Mockingbird) has it that it was not the Malaysian rep pr that caused the move. Alas alack, it turns out that an interview with our own illustrious ceo Jim Lunney was published in a weekly magazine called The Wall Street Reporter which is a 35 year old publication that is apparently subscribed to by money managers, institutional investors, and the like.

This rumor comes from none other than paul berlin. Apparently, it was a fairly extensive interview covering all aspects about the present and future status of ptsc. Anyone subscribe per chance or can get a hold of a copy. I asked pb for some of the highlights:

1) there are 80 evaluation kits of psc 1000 out that are being tested;
he mentioned the design wins of genroco and olea and said that several other companies are in the process of putting the chip into their design. some of the companies are well into the prototype stage. said several companies are just itching for the .35m (supposedly august). He indicated that the big breakthru (read big contract) could hit almost at any time from this point out.

2) Lunney said there was significant interest for their isdn products in europe and australia.

3) His main focus is to insure the pedigree of the chip is increased; wants to get additional toolsets and give it additional features. His other goal is to stress and make sure that things get accomplished on a timely basis.............. That's all folks. bob

ps: heard a rumor that barbra s. was marrying elliot gould...
