Kash, that is the 1st negative statement I've ever read about Clear Logic. It certainly is not out of the realm of possibility that CL will flop. However, I notice that you post a great deal on the Altera thread - that doesn't mean that your being disingenuous, but it raises the possibility.

I think it would be helpful to the people on this thread if you explained the context in which you have evaluated Clear Logic's business strategy. Specifically, your current activities at Macrotech Semi and previous work at ASIC Technical Services (both ASIC companies) might influence your opinion.

Since the Clear Logic FPGA to ASIC conversion technology is very different than those used by you previously, your opinion may have been influenced by your background.

Clear Logic has a much more optimistic outlook on the future of its technology and business model than do you. We feel that our business is progressing well, and customers are finding our solution attractive.
