Yeah! Those are the stories I've already heard (and told). I once bought "Uninstaller" but after reading the manual, I never put it on my drive. That was 5 years ago and today, I don't even have it around the house. Must have pitched it.

The one I ordered from Parsons allegedly keeps track of everything you dump, and where it came from . It stores it in a safe place that I am supposed to be able to go get if I find I still need it.

I'll have to give it careful thought before installing it. And, a complete tape backup prior to trying it out (if I do).
