Ed, It does make a difference based on the drugs ADME etc.. and especially based on a drug going systemic vs local. In the vast majority of depression cases the depression causes impotence and the anti-depressant also causes impotence--kind of a catch 22. If the cause of the depression is purely organic then Zoloft alone can do wonders but most cases of depression are due to a combination of factors stress probably being the largest single cause. A discussion on depression is probably as complex as ED so I will leave it to the shrinks.
