It's crazy. This DCLK was clicking off half points on 2 or 3 hundred shares! It was insane. Yahoo's market cap is psychotic. So is Lycos and Amazon.com. The only reason SEEK is not at 80 is because nobody can figure out what the Disney takeover is actually worth. It's like the tulip bulb thing in the Netherlands back in the 17th century or whenever it was.

I tell you, it is nuts. These internet stocks are squeezing the shorts in a major way. I'll bet AOL goes to 200 bucks. Trading these things is like being in a fistfight. You don't know you lost until you wake up.

Which brings up another point. These guys on SI that grumble about the MMs manipulating the stock and having inventory that they feed into the float and all that BS. Imagine if you were a trader for a firm and actually went home short 1000 or 2000 shares of ELNK on Tuesday. Dead meat. I guarantee that no firm trader went home with inventory on these tech stocks today. It would be career suicide.
