bobby, success has a thousand fathers and failure is an orphan. I do not want to discount the role of psychology in this market-group think , herd mentality and linear expectations but i do feel that the Fed should have done more to check the speculation ( rate hikes) . My comments are based on the assumption that the inevitable mkt decline will be so severe as to damage the economy with the negative wealth effect but that remains to be seen. I seem to recall you were a bear for some time but made a switch to the bull camp -I wish i had - oh well maybe i'll be ready for the next mania-g- Mike
