It could be short covering - which means he made a lot of money
covering at low prices.

It could be long term buying - which means there is increasing
buying interest.

In either case, it suggests that we saw the bottom and we will
go up from here. I am happy.

REGARDING THE CHAT TONIGHT. Just got word that r1 is still not home from work - he left home Tuesday at 430 am and is getting back tonight. So, unless he has access from his car or gets home real soon, I doubt he will be at the chat site at 10pm EDT as he stated. I am sure he will log on sometime tonight to let us know if he wants to chat. Otherwise, others are welcome to chat and the message board is open.
