Report from the hinterland: Computer assembly retail outlets are going gangbusters, this is such a proven money machine..... NOT !!! I have to take my shoes off to count the number of storefront computer stores that have come and gone. Dell and Gateway were on the recieving end of that, why does Gateway want to try both sides of the fence, now? Our mall has booths of jewelry makers, etc. and since Xmas a Gateway (as in the ISP, dancing baby rapper). Guess which booth has NO ONE interested? This model is so 80's, it is hilarious that Gateway is taking the expense to grab at the edge of a saturated market. Donating a two-year old Gateway may not be wise because your company rep is based on a two-year old machine's reliability.
