I don't know who posted the Krugman paper originally but it was a week or more ago that I picked it up. Eight times was a slight exageration. May be it was more like I tried to complete it eight times before I dozed off.

Maurice,

Krugman himself was interviewed on CNBC today.

On one hand, he did point out the bridge bank and other current strategies are not going to solve the underlying problem of the Japanese not consuming. On the other hand, his idea of printing money forever and allowing the yen to free fall is going to collapse Asia in the mean time.

I think Japan is facing a tails you lose and heads you don't win situation.
