Good Morning Everyone, I wanted to re-send the following post from a few days ago for a couple of reasons. First of all, Mr. Murphy called me last night and asked me if I might get a ballpark figure on how many of you plan on being at the Annual Shareholder's Meeting at Disneyworld on July 30th. This will give them a better idea on planning their logistics. Things like planning for breakfast items, room size, etc. must be taken care of ahead of time. After speaking with Joe for over half an hour late last night I will just say this. I believe that this particular shareholder's meeting will be the most exciting time in the history of our investment and DCI in particular. Remember all the time I have said that I felt it was very important to be well positioned and have patience? (P & P) I will just say this. We are getting a lot closer than some might realize how important that statement will turn out to be. I really hope that you will consider trying to be at the meeting. Keep in mind that it is tax deductible if you are a shareholder. PLEASE let me know (one way or another) if you plan on attending so that I can assist DCI with their arrangements ASAP. Thanks again. Subject: DCTC!!--ANNUAL SHAREHOLDER'S MEETING---JULY 30TH--DISNEYWORLD Date: Tue, 30 Jun 1998 09:24:04 -0700 From: Brad Driesen <giles@erinet.com> To: giles@erinet.com Good Morning Everyone, I wanted to take this opportunity to try and put together a few things concerning DCI's Annual Shareholder's Meeting. I would like to hear from anyone that is planning on going to the meeting so that we can possibly plan some get-togethers. The meeting will take place the morning of July 30th at the Grand Floridian Resort located at DisneyWorld. DCI management will be arriving on the 29th and will be staying there. I will be arriving on the night of the 28th along with my wife (Jennifer) and 7-year old daughter (Diana). I did my booking through Travel Source which is owned by DCI. Please consider using them for all your reservation needs. You can reach them toll free at 1-800-583-3550. Ask to speak to Lois or Sandra. The Grand Floridian is very expensive. Nearly $400/night. We were going to stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort for $130/night but it is sold out through mid-August. We finally decided on the Polynesian Resort which is next to the Grand Floridian and is on the Monorail. It too is expensive at nearly $300/night. There are places like the Dixie Landing that you can book for about $144/night. Not on the monorail but have shuttle tour buses that take you anywhere in the complex. There are a variety of very nice places at a much cheaper rate outside of DisneyWorld for those that are driving or plan on renting a car. Travel Source can help you in any situation to fit your needs. We will be going back to St. Martin on July 16th for 12 nights. We got a tremendous deal because of my plane problems on the last trip. Free voucher, 2 nights free and no charge for my daughter. Couldn't resist the temptation. <gg> Our plane from St. Martin to Orlando by way of San Juan is scheduled to arrive in Orlando at 8:44 p.m. so probably won't get checked in until about 10:00 p.m. on the 28th. We also got a 2 day Disney Pass for $85/adult and $68.50 for Diana. We will be leaving on August 1st. The pass includes the Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Epcot, & the new Animal Kingdom. I'm really looking forward to hear our 1st Quarter numbers from Mr. Murphy as well as the entire presentation that management has planned. Please be sure to make your plans early so as to take advantage of best air rates if you are flying. Keep in mind that school is out and you should make your hotel/motel accomodations as early as possible also. For those of you who have never had a chance to meet the entire DCI management team I believe you will feel much more comfortable about your investment once you do so. We have a first class group of individuals who are truly professional in their personal fields of expertise and yet will come across to you as a family of friends. They consider each and every one of us as part of the family. If you would, please get back to me as soon as possible about your plans so that I can have time to put some things together for all of us. We are very excited in having a chance to see some old friends as well as meeting many of you that I have been in contact with for so long but have never had a chance to meet. Sincerely, "Grupo Brad"
