*AV*--One stock, MIPS. Do some research and tell me why there may be very little chance of it getting any lower and a high probability for it to go 20-30% or even higher in the next month or two. I have a theory mixed with some facts. Let's see if the sleuths amongst us can come up with the same theory<GGG>.

I'll try to remember!

As you probably have guessed I would not be talking about a stock but a speculative market short.

It depends a bit on tomorrow's action. An early rally would leave a lot of downside but a small consolidation first would propel the market late in the day so the timing is always the question.

The news in Asia that sparked the early rally today fouled me up a bit as I was ready to get long but the gap opening saw me head off to the golf course early. The trouble with the rally is that once the perception of Asian stabilization sets in with Asian investors there will be some re-patriation of "flight-to-safety" money that came here in several waves over the past year or so.

In essence one of the key reasons for the market's bullish activity may be removed in the near term. Basically creating a net outflow where prior it was a net inflow.
